Camera Jabber is a photography website built for photographers, by photographers. It was created by a partnership between Ali Jennings, Jeff Meyer and Angela Nicholson.
Having worked in the photography industry and as journalists for many years, we felt that what photographers really need is a website that goes beyond the general, beyond what’s obvious and caters to your specific needs as a photographer. It’s the personal touch, that’s been missing.
The team behind Camera Jabber
Jeff Meyer, Website Editor
Jeff is our Website Editor. He’s been a journalist for more than 20 years and began taking pictures as a teenager in the US with an old Pentax K1000 and a 50mm f/1.4 lens. He has worked for the UK’s photography press for the past 10 years with Amateur Photographer and, most recently, editing Photography Week and the Digital Camera World wesbite.
Angela Nicholson, Reviews Editor – Cameras & Lenses
Angela began reviewing cameras and photographic kit in early 2004 and has previous been Amateur Photographer’s Technical Editor and Head of Testing for Future Publishing’s extensive photography portfolio (Digital Camera, Professional Photography, NPhoto, PhotoPlus, Photography Week, Practical Photoshop, digitalcameraworld and Techradar).
Ali Jennings, Reviews Editor – Action Cams, Drones & Accessories
After a few commercial photo jobs and short film projects, Ali joined the publishing industry in the late ’90s. In 2003 he joined Digital Camera Magazine, and more recently worked as the Imaging Lab Manager, testing cameras and lenses. In the last few years he has specialised in testing action cameras and drones and is training for his drone licence.
Bonnie Meyer, News Editor
Bonnie is a freelance writer whose interest in photography grew out of her development of a popular food blog. She learned to appreciate photography by working with what she’s given. Supplied with only natural light and older camera models, Bonnie likes to play with conditions to see what she can achieve. She’s now focused her work on the writing side of the camera and enjoys helping enthusiasts navigate the ever-widening realm of photography.
Amy Davies, Contributor
Amy Davies is a journalist and photographer who has been published in a wide variety of places including TechRadar, Wired, Amateur Photographer, Photography Blog, ePhotoZine, What Digital Camera and more. She lives in Cardiff and has a penchant for sausage shaped dogs.
