A GoPro Hero6 release date could be coming soon if a well-spotted addition to a registration agency is anything to go by.

The Japanese blog Nokoshita, which has broken a number of stories recently, reports on Twitter that a GoPro Hero6 Black has been registered with a public agency in China.

Nokoshita explains that any device that features WiFi must register with this agency before it can be sold on the market.

There are no more details than that to report, and as always we should take such rumours and sightings with a pinch of salt.

However, GoPro themselves have been quite candid about the development of its Hero line of action cameras and said back in February that it planned to announce a Hero6, along with other new cameras, in 2017.
