HTC has announced the new HTC 10 evo smartphone, with a camera that offers a number of advanced features for mobile photographers.

Along with the HTC evo 10’s 16-megapixel resolution is Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) to help reduce camera shake.

The HTC evo 10 camera launch time is just 0.3secs and Phase Detection Auto Focus.

Chief among the HTC 10 evo’s camera features is a new Pro mode to give you more manual control over your exposure settings, as well as RAW capture and enhancement.

The HTC 10 evo boasts an 8MP front camera with Auto HDR for enhanced selfies, with a panorama mode to help you capture your a whole group.

The HTC 10 evo’s built-in fingerprint sensor lets you unlock your phone with the touch of your finger – in as little as 0.2 seconds, HTC says. Your fingerprint can also unlock apps.

All these features are powered by a 3,200mAh battery, which HTC says is enough for up to a day or more use on a single charge.

The HTC 10 evo’s 3GB RAM and either 32GB or 64GB storage space5, expandable with optional SD cards for up to 2TB of space.

The HTC 10 evo will be available in the UK exclusively on htc.com in Gunmetal and Glacier Silver6. Availability and pricing is not yet available.
