Manfrotto has launched a new Pro Light Bumblebee – price tag starting from £109.95 – range of professional bags designed for use in challenging conditions.

Aimed at professional photographers and videographers, the Pro Light Bumblebee bags come in two sizes: the Bumblebee-230 PL and Bumblebee-130 PL.

The Manfrotto Bumblebee-230 PL backpack can house a DSLR with a both a battery grip and 70-200mm f/2.8 lens attached, as well as up to 10 extra lenses or an attached 400mm f/2.8 and five extra lenses.

In its video configuration, the Bumblebee-230 PL can fit a disassembled modular camcorder, such as the Canon C100, along with a range of lenses and accessories. It also offers a padded pocket for a 17in laptop.

The Bumblebee-130 PL backpack can support a high-end mirrorless or a DSLR camera with a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens attached and up to eight additional lenses or an unattached 400mm f/2.8 with three extra lenses.

When configured for video, the Bumblebee-130 PL can house disassembled modular camcorders like a Sony FS-5. And it can store a 15in laptop.

Other features include a NeverLose tripod connection to secure both longer and shorter tripods to the side of the pack, and this connection can be tucked away when not in use.

The Manfrotto Bumblebee bags also boast a breathable harness and back panel, with adjustable sternum, hip and waist support.

Bumblebee Messenger bags

Manfrotto’s Pro Light Bumblebee range also includes two messenger bags, the Bumblebee M-30 PL.

The Bumblebee M-30 PL Messenger houses a DSLR with a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens attached and three additional lenses, a handheld gimbal and a 15in laptop in their own padded compartments.

The Bumblebee M-10 PL Messenger can store a CSC or DSLR with a 24-70mm f/4 lens attached, plus two additional lenses (including 70-200mm f/2.8), a handheld gimbal and a 13in laptop in their own padded compartments. Manfrotto says it can also carry a DJI Mavic plus the Osmo gimbal camera.

All Bumblebee bags come with a rain cover and are available for pre-order now on Manfrotto’s website.
