infltr, a new photo app for iOS – priced £2.29 / €2.99 / $2.99 – allows iPhone and iPad users to apply filters to their images in Apple’s messages app.
This is the first time a camera app has been incorporated into iMessage, the makers of infltr claim, unleashing the full potential of the iPhone camera.
infltr also works with iPhone videos, and users can change the filter throughout their recording, scrolling through finished video to find moments to filter. Users can also play a video and change the filter at the same time.
Built using iOS 10, infltr will also be the first photo app to filter Apple’s Live Photos, according to infltr.
The ap boasts more than 7 million filters for iOS devices and is available in more than 22 languages.
